This is a weekly show co-hosted by Ron Brown and Hewie Poplock to address the technology needs of Seniors in this Covid 19 Crisis

Meeting Format:

The meeting will start @ 8:30 and all microphones will be open so everyone can socialize over coffee and doughnuts. ( you must bring your own coffee and doughnuts)

At 9 AM all microphones will be muted and the meeting started

The first 15 minutes will be spent answering questions sent into silvercomctc@gmail.com and if there are none Hewie and I will discuss recent Tech News

The next 30 minutes will be split between Hewie and I discussing the technology that will help Seniors through this most difficult time.

         Topics can be social isolation, on-line shopping, entertainment, streaming TV Services and much more.

The last 15 minutes will be tips from the audience on great movies, shows or books you have seen in the past week.  Tell us something interesting you did. We want the last 15 minutes to be interactive.

It will be broadcasted with Zoom Technology every Monday from 9-10 AM  MST

   The numbers for the meeting are listed in the Invitation.  There is also a link to look for local numbers in your area.  When you dial the number just enter the Meeting ID. 526610331 when prompted and you will be connected.

PROBLEM:  This only gives you audio and many of the presentations will involve videos.

Important: 

Video

For those wanting to stay in your PJ's and not be ready for public appearance, you will be joining the meeting with your Video Turned OFF.  This means we can't see you and ONLY you can turn on your Video.

Audio

You will be muted when connecting.  This means we can't hear you but Hewie and I can turn that on and off.  So if you want to ask a question just put your hand up and we will turn on your mic.  If there are a lot of people in the meeting, background noise like barking dogs, Televisions, Radios etc all would be broadcast.

LAPTOP VS PC

Laptops all have a microphone and camera whereas PC's do not.   If you have a PC and want to interact with the group then you will need a microphone and a camera.
